Fair Housing Pasta Sauce Cook-Off
The Fifth Annual Fair Housing Pasta Sauce Cook-off will be held Friday, May 31, 2013 at 6:00 p.m. at the Covenant Presbyterian Church, 1226 Salvador Ave., Napa. Two winning pasta sauces will be chosen by the People’s Choice and Celebrity Judges. Two outstanding chefs and cookbook authors, Hugh Carpenter and James McNair, will be the celebrity judges. The Prizes will be magnums of Diamond Creek and Judd’s Hill wines. All adults are welcome to compete. They and everyone else will enjoy a night of food and fun, including a scrumptious dinner of pasta, salad, bread, wine, and dessert, while listening to the accordion music of George Bachich, tasting the sauces, and selecting the People’s Choice winner.
